Prof. Dr. Hazem Khamis, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Anti-Doping Organization, announced the appointment of Iman Gomaa as Chief Executive Officer. Dr. Hazem Khamis expressed his wishes for success for Iman Gomaa in her new mission with the work team so that the Egyptian Anti-Doping Organization maintains its leading position in this field at the national, continental and global levels.
Dr. Hazem Khamis thanked Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, for his constant support and continued concern for the success of the Egyptian Anti-Doping Organization in order to practice clean sports free of doping.
Iman Gomaa has a wealth of executive, functional, and scientific experience, as she served as a member of the technical office of the Minister of Youth and Sports.
The Egyptian Anti-Doping Organization is the body responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing, monitoring and advocating for improvements in the field of doping control in Egypt, and cooperating with relevant national and international organizations and agencies and other anti-doping organizations, as well as planning, implementing and monitoring information on anti-doping and education programmes.
